A few weeks ago I was asked to help with a retirement party decor, particularly with the table. I was on a very limited budget of $10/table.
Here's my plan, a lot of bank for the buck:
Bright colors, by using bright colors a smaller centerpiece feels much larger.
Cheap materials, my secret weapon, the dollar store.
Here's how I started:
Glass Vases- $1
Floral foam- $1 for 6, used 1/2 per vase so about $.08/vase
Sticks - $1/vase
Flowers- $5/ bunch- Walmart pre-order. :)
Table Runners- $1.75 each, here, with $5 coupon code. :)
Silver Chargers- $1 each
For a grand total of $9.85, Because I had a few cents left over I decided to add some rocks to each vase.
Here's the process: Sorry about the pic's it was the night before the party. :)
Then I started adding the flowers from the bouquet:
Here is another:
I don't have a picture of the finished table. But this is my prototype:
Took me a while to figure what to do for 10 bucks. I think it turned out great!
